This tumbler features the rare wartime painting “Knight’s Cross Holders of the SS-LAH,” created by the division’s war correspondent and artist, Ernst Krause. The young artist participated in the Polish, French, and Greek campaigns. The painting was presented to Adolf Hitler as a gift from the men of the SS-LAH Division and was later displayed at the German House of Art exhibition in Munich in 1942. The artwork was ultimately lost amid the chaos at the end of the war.
