For years enthusiasts bemoaned the absence of a specialized publication about German submarines in the Second World War, and in 2007 U-Boot im Focus was born. With the support of archives, private collectors and well-known experts in the field, the series is published three times per year. Most of the photos have never before been published and they are complimented with informative captions and well-researched articles on all aspects of U-boat operations. The focus of the articles are on lesser-known facts and events. Each issue offers the reader exclusive reading material and rare wartime photos printed on high quality glossy paper.
