Written in his "you are there" style, Franz Kurowski presents mini-biographies on seven infantry aces, all Knight's Cross recipients. Although we make fun of our titles as "summer beach reading", this book actually comes close to that. The book is a real page turner and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did putting it together. - Erich Barenfanger. KC as an Oberleutnant and acting commander of the III./Infanterie-Regiment 123. OLC (No. 243) as a Hauptmann and commander of the same battalion. Swords (no. 45) as a Major and commander of the same battalion.
