Integrated within air base 118, it employs nearly 1,000 people from front-line units and from a variety of backgrounds and specialties. The author, himself a former test pilot, tells us the history of this organization in detail, with many supporting photographs, seventy years of experimentation, and the creation of the center that we see today.
