In 1943, the original German Army Splinter pattern was modified by blurring the geometric shapes and altering the colors, resulting in the Sumpftarnmuster (Swamp-Marsh) pattern. In 1944, further adjustments intensified the blurring, leading to what is referred to by collectors as the Tan and Water camouflage pattern.
The pattern was used to produce pull-over smocks, winter parkas, and also helmet covers.
This tumbler features a camouflage pattern that was carefully reproduced from an authentic piece of material, preserving the original colors and unique design of the pattern.
